SpaceWise terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms cover SpaceWise: The Real Solar System ("the app"), made by David Lee ("we", "us"). You buy and download the app through the Meta Horizon Store, so the Meta Terms of Service and the Meta Horizon Store terms also apply. If these terms and Meta's terms disagree, Meta's terms win.
Using the app
- The app is for personal, family and classroom use on Meta Quest headsets that the store lists as supported.
- You may not copy, sell or share the app, or take it apart to reuse its code or content, except where the law allows it.
- Meta Quest is for ages 10 and up. Children aged 10 to 12 need a parent-managed Meta account, and a parent or teacher should set up the headset and stay nearby.
Health and safety
Read Meta's health and safety warnings before using the headset. Use the app in a clear space with the Guardian boundary on. Take regular breaks (the app reminds you after 20 minutes, or after the time a grown-up chose), and stop at once if anyone feels sick, dizzy or uncomfortable.
The science in the app
We work hard to make everything in the app accurate and up to date. Facts come from NASA, ESA and other trusted sources, and the sky, the planets and the moons follow real orbits and real time. Some scenes, such as the surface of a planet around another star or the space near a black hole, are science-based pictures of what it might look like; the app labels them. Science changes as we learn more. If you find a mistake, please tell us at lee_hantae@msn.com and we will fix it in an update.
The app is not endorsed by NASA, ESA or any other space agency. Images and data from these agencies are used under their public terms and credited in the app (Grown-ups > Credits).
Updates
We may update the app to fix problems, correct facts or add content. The store installs updates. The app works without an internet connection.
Our responsibility
The app is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the app is faulty, contact us, or ask Meta for a refund under the Meta Horizon Store refund policy.
